💁♂️『神學素養系列』特別提供給想要成為「基督徒學者」或「好學服事者」的年輕世代研究生、博士生。「基督徒學者」指向藉由學者的專業投入見證耶穌基督，而「好學服事者」則指向藉由認真學習、專業裝備而投入服事。
神學素養是培養基本的神學觀念和應用：
🔶「素養」－－是爲適應現代生活及未來挑戰應當具備的知識、能力與態度。 🔶「神學」－－是信仰的投入性反思。
把「素養」套在「神學」的後頭，所要追求的不單純是認知上的知識； 同時也是訓練解決問題、因應問題的能力，並帶著健康的態度。
基督教信仰如果要深耕的話，需要思想的學習，能把聖經詮釋應用到公共議題，而非把公共議題讀入聖經。若要如此的話，這是一個呼召（Beruf），是你願意為它受苦，帶著熱情去投入的。

▴ 影片1說明每一個世紀的20年代都很重要，堪稱「黃金十年」，因為這十年經常發生很重要的事情而影響了整個世紀；黃金十年相當於每個人一生中的青年時代，對於一生的影響十分重大。
▴ 我們正處於21世紀黃金十年的最後四年當中，急切需要學習培養神學素養，讓聖經敘事進入公共敘事，亦即讓上帝的話進入世界價值觀，因此有影片2。
▴ 面對黃金十年的挑戰，我們需要專精的知識裝備，而基督教與大學有千年以上的關係，亦即基督教信仰與高等教育有長久的互動，基督徒應當勇於開發知識的恩賜，因此有影片3。
▴ 我們招募年輕世代的博士生，期待培養基督徒學者與好學的服事者，對象是具有華人文化背景者，鼓勵大家追求兩千年以上歷史的基督教與三千年以上歷史的中國文化的整合，成為基督教信仰在這世上的美好見證，因此有影片4。
▴ 在黃金十年的預備過程當中，最重要的就是培養「基督徒學者」與「好學的服事者」，這樣的人才能夠承擔上帝國盼望的異象，而尋找盼望是非常重要的起步，需要向盼望神學學習，因此有影片5。
▴ 最後，我們應當辨識時代的特質，看見時代的問題與答案，從而領受上帝的呼召，投入合乎上帝心意的回應，因此有影片6。
💁♂️This series is for graduate students who aspire to become a “Christian scholar” witnessing Jesus Christ through an academic career, or a “scholarly minister” to serve with a well equipped foundation of the truth.
“Theological Literacy” refers to understanding and applying the basic concepts of theology.
🔶“Literacy” refers to the essential knowledge, competencies, and dispositions which are in need to engage current life and future challenges. 🔶”Theology” refers to the reflective thinking on the engaging faith.
When “literacy” is placed after “theology,” the goal of theology is not mere cognitive knowledge. It also includes the ability to discern problems, respond wisely, and cultivate a mature and healthy attitude toward all dimensions of life.
A deeply rooted Christian faith requires disciplined cultivation of biblical thinking so that we interpret public issues with Scripture—rather than the other way around. This is a calling with passion—something you are willing to suffer for and pursue enthusiastically.

▴ Video 1: The twenties in every century are historically significant—a period sometimes referred to as a Golden Decade. Many events during the decade often shape the course of the entire century. Similarly, the Golden Decade resembles the youth of one’s life, which can immensely impact the rest of one’s life. ▴ Video 2: We are now in the last 4 years of the Golden Decade of the 21st century. There is an urgent need to further cultivate theological literacy so that we can interpret public issues and shape social values. In this way, God’s word may enter and illuminate the public realm. ▴ Video 3: To face the challenge of the Golden Decade, we must be intellectually equipped. Christianity and university (i.e., higher education) are deeply related for more than a thousand years. The formative training of the Christian faith gave birth to the earliest universities. Therefore, Christians should boldly develop intellectual giftings. ▴ Video 4: We are recruiting doctoral students among the younger generation who have a Chinese cultural background, with the aim of cultivating Christian scholars or scholarly ministers. We promote the integration of Christianity and Chinese culture—both have a long-standing and profound heritage—in the hope that the Christian faith can be a beautiful testimony to the world. ▴ Video 5: During the Golden Decade, the priority is to raise Christian scholars and scholarly ministers, who can bear the hopeful vision of God’s Kingdom. Thus, the understanding of hope and seeking hope can be critical starting points. The theology of hope will provide such insights. ▴ Video 6: Lastly, we should grow the ability to discern our time—to see the problems of the current age and devise answers.
